Adding yet another feather to its cap, global networking solutions provider Hughes Systique announced that it has joined the prestigious Intel Network Builders ecosystem. It was also awarded as a Solutions Partner in their Winners’ Circle Program on 14th October 2019 during the Intel Network Builders Summit, at Day Zero of SDN NFV World Congress 2019, at The Hague, Netherlands.
The Winner’s Circle award recognizes Hughes Systique’s significant contribution to the acceleration of network transformation and working on cutting edge solutions in conjunction with Intel and contributing to the ecosystem. Hughes Systique has been an early starter with Intel NEV and Intel OpenNESS in exploring their potential for orchestration capabilities. Hughes Systique is also recognized as one of the Edge Ecosystem partners for its pioneering work on the Distributed Virtualization Orchestration Framework (DVOF) that offers a platform for end to end service orchestration of distributed cloud-native applications, from edge to cloud.
“This important felicitation from Intel firmly positions Hughes Systique as a solutions partner of choice for building the next-generation network solutions,” said Pradeep Kaul, CEO at Hughes Systique. “We are proud to join the esteemed Intel Network Builders Winners’ Circle and the Network Edge Ecosystem and will relentlessly continue in our efforts to develop world-class solutions in the networking space. We also look forward to working closely with Intel on the various opportunities in NFVI, edge services, 5G and IoT.”
Hughes Systique has been providing cutting edge technology solutions in the Software-Defined Networks space coming up with innovative offerings in Mobile Edge Computing, 5G, IoT etc. Hughes is also working with some of the major networking OEMs and helping them enhance their Network as a Service (NaaS) offerings. HSC’s DVOF is an ambitious project for orchestrating distributed applications in a multi-site, multi-cloud and multi-tenant environment. The DVOF handles workload placements, resource allocations, and end-to-end networking, thus applications can stay oblivious to the underlying infrastructure. DVOF offers a single point of orchestration, seamlessly distributing the workloads from edge to cloud.
Intel Network Builders is an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs), operating system vendors (OSVs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs), system integrators, and communications service providers coming together to accelerate the adoption of network functions virtualization (NFV)- and software-defined networking (SDN) based solutions in telecommunications networks and public, private enterprise, and hybrid clouds.
